Overview
Colib offers a native two-way Google Calendar sync for your scheduler. By connecting your Google account to Apple Calendar (macOS or iOS), you can effectively get a two-way sync between Colib ↔ Google ↔ Apple (iPhone, iPad, Mac). This article walks you through the full setup, verification steps, and common troubleshooting tips.

High-level summary: How to sync Colib → Google → Apple Calendar

  1. Connect Google Calendar to Colib using Colib’s built-in 2-way Google sync.

  2. On your Mac, iPhone or iPad, add the same Google account to Apple Calendar.

  3. Enable “Calendars” for that Google account on the Apple device.

  4. Ensure your Google calendars are visible in the Apple Calendar app.

  5. Create a test event on Apple Calendar → verify it appears in Google → verify it appears in Colib.

  6. Create a test event in Colib → verify it appears in Google → verify it appears in Apple Calendar.

Before you start

  1. Make sure you have a Google account you can sign into and that Colib is already connected to that Google account (Colib → Google). See Colib’s Google sync guide first.

  2. On the Apple device(s) you want to sync (Mac, iPhone, iPad), use the same Google account details.

  3. Allow Calendar permissions when prompted on Apple devices.

  4. If you use 2-Step Verification on Google, be ready to confirm the sign-in (or create an app password if needed).

At a glance — what you’re doing

  1. Connect Google Calendar to Colib (if you haven’t already).

  2. Add the same Google account to Apple Calendar (on Mac or iPhone/iPad) and enable Calendars for that account. This will surface your Google calendars inside Apple Calendar and allow events created in Apple Calendar to appear in Google (and therefore in Colib) and vice versa.

Step-by-step: macOS (Apple Calendar on a Mac)

A. Confirm Colib ↔ Google is connected

  1. Open Colib → SettingsScheduler (or the Google sync area) and confirm your Google account shows as connected.

B. Add your Google account to Apple Calendar (macOS)

  1. Open Calendar on your Mac.

  2. From the menu bar choose Calendar > Add Account….

  3. Select Google and click Continue.

  4. Sign in with the same Google account you connected to Colib. Complete any 2-step verification.

  5. When the account options appear, enable Calendars (you can also enable Mail/Contacts if wanted). Click Done.

C. Select which Google calendars appear

  1. In Calendar’s sidebar you should now see your Google account and its calendars.

  2. Check/uncheck calendars to control what appears in Apple Calendar (events still remain in Google).

  3. Create an event in Apple Calendar on a Google calendar — it should sync to Google and then to Colib (two-way). Give it a few minutes to propagate.

Step-by-step: iPhone / iPad (Apple Calendar on iOS)

A. Confirm Colib ↔ Google is connected

  1. Verify Colib has your Google account connected (see Colib article).

B. Add Google account to your iPhone/iPad

  1. Open Settings > Calendar > Accounts > Add Account.

  2. Tap Google and sign in with the same Google account used in Colib. Complete any verification.

  3. Turn on Calendars for that account and tap Save. Your Google calendars will appear in the Apple Calendar app.

C. Verify / create events

  1. In the Apple Calendar app, make sure the Google calendars are visible (tap Calendars at the bottom to show/hide).

  2. Create an event on one of the Google calendars — it should appear in Google and in Colib (allow a short delay).

Quick verification (both Mac & iPhone)

  1. Create a test appointment in Colib (on a Google-synced calendar).

  2. Watch for the event to appear in Google Calendar (web) and in Apple Calendar on your Mac/iPhone.

  3. Edit the event in Apple Calendar — confirm the change appears in Google and Colib.
If changes don’t show right away, wait ~5–10 minutes and refresh/reopen apps.
