How does the waiting room work for online meetings?

1 - Enable feature


You first need to enable the feature in your settings. If this feature is not enabled, your clients will be able to access the online meeting without the practitioner's permission.

2. Client experience


After being asked to enter their name, your client will be redirected to the waiting room while waiting for a practitioner to validate their request.



Once invited to join, the client will be automatically redirected to the online meeting. 



3. Practitioner experience and role



If your client has sent a request to join a meeting via the waiting room, a practitioner from your practice must accept the invitation to allow them to join the meeting.


To allow your client to join the meeting, you need to be logged in as a practitioner on the client portal (the website where our video tool is hosted).

After logging in, you will then be able to accept or decline video conference invitations:
