This article explains what faxing costs in Colib, for sending and for receiving, so you can choose the option that fits your clinic.

Fax pricing at a glance

All prices are in Canadian dollars, taxes not included.

Sending faxes: you only pay for the pages that are delivered

• You pay $0.10 CAD for each page sent: a 3-page fax costs $0.30 CAD. If you add a cover page, it counts as a page.
• A fax is charged once its status is Sent, meaning the recipient's fax machine confirmed receipt.
• A fax with the status Not sent, for example because the line was busy or the number was wrong, is not charged.
• Sending faxes does not require the monthly option. Without a dedicated number, your faxes are sent from Colib's shared number.

Receiving faxes: the monthly option

For $12 CAD per month, your clinic gets:

• its own fax number, on which your correspondents can fax you;
• the reception of your faxes directly in Colib, in the fax inbox shared by your team;
• a Colib notification and an email when a fax arrives;
• the filing of each fax in the right client record, in a few clicks;
• outgoing faxes sent from your own number, so your correspondents can reply by fax.

Faxes you receive are not charged: the monthly option covers all of them, whatever their number or length. Faxes you send remain charged $0.10 CAD per page, with or without the monthly option.
