There are two ways to ask a client to fill out a form before an appointment:
1) Additional email(s) including the form(s) to be completed, sent just after the appointment confirmation notification
Open the appointment types corresponding to a first session with your client.
Scroll down to the Forms automation section.
Enable Send forms with initial notifications.
Select the forms you want your clients to complete when they book this type of appointment.
This is the more secure way to ask your clients to complete a form.
Main advantages:
Separate emails sent alongside the initial appointment confirmation email for a better flow.
Ability to automate reminders if the form has not been completed after a certain number of days. See more here: How to automate form reminders.
2) Link to the form(s) added directly in the appointment confirmation email content
The easiest way to perform this task is to include a link to your form (intake form for example) in the initial notification or reminder sent to clients before their session with you.
Please follow these steps:
- Go to https://www.colib.io/settings?show=appointments.
- Open the appointment types corresponding to a first session with your client.
- Edit the content of the reminder and the initial notification directly in the text editor, and add your form URL.
