How many participants can the video sessions hold at one time?

Who is this article for?

This article is for practitioners who hold online sessions with Colib's video conferencing and want to invite more than one person: a couple, a family, a parent, an interpreter or a group class.

In short: a Colib video session can hold up to 250 participants at the same time, and up to 25 of them can have their camera on at the same time. For everyday sessions (individual, couple, family or small group), you will never reach these limits.

Every participant joins from their own computer, tablet or phone, in the web browser. There is nothing to install.

How to invite several participants

Each appointment has its own meeting link, and everyone uses the same link:

  • Clients of the appointment — every client added to the appointment receives the meeting link in their confirmation and reminder notifications (email and text message).
  • Group classes — for a group appointment, all the registered clients join the same session. See How to set up group & class appointments?
  • Another person (interpreter, colleague, family member) — open the appointment in the scheduler (www.colib.io/scheduler), copy the Join meeting link next to Virtual meeting, and send it to that person.

During the session, the number of people connected is shown at the top right of the screen, next to the participants icon.
