How to configure pauses/absences ?

If you are using the direct booking option, you may need to pause certain types of appointments on specific days—or even create a full break for yourself or some practitioners in your clinic.

Here’s how you should proceed:

  1. Go to your Scheduler settings: https://www.colib.io/settings?show=scheduler.

  2. Scroll down to the Appointment Pauses section and start adding your pause.

    • The start date and end date you enter will be included in the pause.

    • In the example below, the pause will occur on April 3, 2025, and April 4, 2025.

    • You can select the practitioners affected by the pause and specify the types of appointments that will be paused. 

  3. Once your pause has been set up, check your Direct Booking to verify that no appointments can be booked during this period. 

  4. In the Scheduler section, an icon next to the date will indicate that a pause has been configured for at least one selected practitioner on that day.
